In 2016, the MotoGP World Championship returned to Austria. At 4.326 km, the Red Bull Ring is one of the shortest circuits on the MotoGP World Championship calendar. The circuit features ten corners – seven right-handers and three left-handers – and has significant changes in elevation. The MotoGP Sprint on Saturday begins at 3 pm, and on Sunday the usual order will be maintained, with the Moto3 race starting at 11 am. The highlight will be the 28-lap MotoGP race at 2 pm.
