Era Motorsport withdraws Porsche 911 GT3 R from the 24 Hours of Spa

The field for the 24 Hours of Spa has been reduced to 69 cars, which is still a very impressive line-up. The Era Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R, which was due to compete in the Bronze Cup, has been withdrawn from the world’s biggest GT3 race.

The only drivers confirmed for the car so far were Kyle Tilley and Jake Hill, who most recently competed in the 24 Hours of Spa for Lionspeed GP and in the NLS6 for PROsport Racing.

The car due to be fielded at the 24h Spa was to have been a Lionspeed GP chassis, but it will now not be taking part. During the official prologue to the endurance classic, the car completed a few laps on the afternoon of the second day, but was not consistently on track over the two days.
