Porsche triumphs at the traditional race in Suzuka

Porsche victory at the Suzuka 1000km – AO by Absolute Racing wins at the historic circuit in Japan. Alessio Picariello, Laurin Heinrich and Julien Andlauer won the race in the car christened “Bushi Rex”, securing Porsche’s second victory of the season in the Intercontinental GT Challenge, the unofficial GT3 World Championship. After a long battle for the lead, the team ultimately triumphed in commanding fashion.

Second place went to Christopher Mies, Dennis Olsen and Frédéric Vervisch in the Miedecke Motorsport by Team MPC Ford Mustang GT3, which started the race from pole position. At the end of the race, after 6½ hours, they were 51.416 seconds behind the Porsche.

Ayhancan Güven, Alessandro Ghiretti and Dorian Boccolacci completed the podium in another Porsche from Absolute Racing.
