Vellahn preview: Will Roan van de Moosdijk clinch the title early?

This coming weekend, the ADAC MX Masters head to MC Vellahn for the sixth of seven rounds. If championship leader Roan van de Moosdijk (Kosak KTM) extends his lead from the current 70 to at least 75 points, he could be crowned the 2026 Masters champion ahead of schedule. Nicolai Skovbjerg also has the chance to clinch the title in the Youngsters class ahead of schedule.

Weather forecast

For this time of year, the daily highs of around 22 degrees are on the cool side. On Saturday, there will be a mix of sun and clouds, with the possibility of isolated showers in the afternoon. On Sunday, too, it is expected to remain partly cloudy, with isolated showers possible.

Improved track

Building on the experience of previous years, the club has further improved the mixed-surface track to provide riders with good conditions and spectators with exciting races.

Van de Moosdijk on course to defend his title

Following max Nagl’s (Triumph) withdrawal due to injury, defending champion Roan van de Moosdijk arrives with a comfortable lead of 70 points over his closest rivals. The battle for second place remains tight between Tom Koch (Sarholz KTM), Maximilian Spies (Becker Racing KTM) and the Finnish Open European Champion Jere Haavisto (FIN/Schmicker Silve Racing).
