Better car classifications for Porsche and BMW at the Norisring

The SRO Technical Commission has adjusted the car classifications for the first DTM race at the Norisring. Following a difficult qualifying session, BMW and Porsche have been given a better classification, after all cars from both manufacturers lagged behind in qualifying. The classifications for the remaining cars remain unchanged.

The BMW M4 GT3 will have more engine power for the first race. The maximum boost pressure will be increased from 2.44 bar to 2.46 bar.

The Porsche 911 GT3 R is permitted to reduce its weight by a full 15 kilograms. The minimum weight of the 911 for the first race is now 1,325 kilograms.
