Earlier than ever before: Aruba.it and Ducati have clinched their first titles

With four rounds of the 2026 Superbike World Championship still to come, the champagne corks were already popping at Ducati back at Donington Park – thanks to victories in the long races by championship leader Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona’s first Superbike triumph in the Superpole-Race, the Aruba.it factory riders once again left their mark on the eighth round of the season, thereby securing the manufacturers’ and teams’ championships ahead of schedule. No other manufacturer or team has managed to secure a victory this year.

Ducati has never before won this prestigious championship as early or as convincingly as it has this year. With 496 points, the Italian manufacturer is 276 points ahead of Bimota (220 points) and a full 384 points ahead of BMW (136 points). The top Japanese manufacturer is Yamaha with 131 points.

This is Ducati’s fifth consecutive victory in the manufacturers’ championship. Prior to that, Yamaha won in 2021, albeit by a margin of just 13 points over the Italian manufacturer.

It is a shared success based on expertise, commitment and team spirit. We celebrate it with satisfaction, mindful of the journey we have undertaken, and already looking ahead to the next challenges.”

Incidentally: Ducati is the most successful manufacturer in the Superbike World Championship. 471 wins and 1,250 podium finishes have been achieved on bikes from Borgo Panigale!

Ducati’s success is also Aruba.it’s success. Team owner Stefano Cecconi took over the factory team’s sponsorship in 2015.
