Anniversary: TV partner ProSiebenSat.1 broadcast the 150th DTM race on Sunday

A milestone anniversary at the Sachsenring: on Sunday, ProSiebenSat.1 broadcast its 150th DTM race live on free-to-air television. The Munich-based broadcasting group has been the series’ TV partner since the 2018 season and has been showing all races live on ProSieben since 2022. Between 2018 and 2021, the racing series was broadcast on Sat.1.

From 1.00 pm, as usual, the team led by presenter Andrea Kaiser, commentator Tobias Schimon, reporter Mike Stiefelhagen and racing driver David Schumacher as an expert provided coverage.

“The DTM and ran racing have become like a real family to me. Many friendships have developed over the years. Going to the racetrack never feels like work to me. I really enjoy the DTM,” said TV star Andrea Kaiser, who is married to eight-time World Rally Champion Sébastien Ogier.

To mark the anniversary, TV viewers were treated to a real cracker. In drying conditions, a spectacular race unfolded, which Ben Dörr won in the McLaren 720S GT3.
