6h Austin: Provisional entry list for FIA WEC race announced

The FIA WEC’s summer break is drawing to a close. The next race weekend in the World Endurance Championship is scheduled for 4–6 September 2026. The venue is the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. As usual, 35 cars are entered. As is well known, the Hypercar class forms the pinnacle of the FIA WEC, with 17 cars taking part. However, there are hardly any changes to the driver line-ups compared to the previous race in Brazil.

In the Hypercars, Ricky Taylor will be getting behind the wheel of the #12 Cadillac V-Series.R. The American will be sharing the cockpit with the two regular drivers, Norman Nato and Will Stevens. Otherwise, there are no changes in the top class. This also means that Tom Gamble and Harry Tincknell, as well as Alex Riberas and Marco Soerensen, will continue to compete as pairs in the two Aston Martin Valkyries respectively.

There have also been some changes in the LMGT3 class. Nicky Catsburg is returning to the #33 Corvette Z06 LMGT3.R, where he will share the cockpit with Jonny Edgar and Ben Keating. Eduardo Barrichello is also available again for the race in Austin and will be driving the #23 Aston Martin Vantage AMR LMGT3 alongside Jonny Adam and Gray Newell.
