Mercedes-AMG sets fastest time in first practice session at the scorching Misano circuit

The GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup race weekend at Misano got off to a flying start with a Mercedes-AMG fastest lap. Fabian Schiller set the fastest lap in the GetSpeed Team Dubai Mercedes-AMG GT3, which he shares with Gabriel Rindone. Schiller completed the circuit in 1:32.868 minutes. This makes the winner of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring the only driver to have broken the 1:33-minute barrier.

Second place went to Charles Weerts in the #32 WRT BMW M4 GT3. He was 0.317 seconds off the fastest time set by the GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Local hero Andrea Frassineti in the Tresor Attempto Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 rounded off the top three.
