Nicki Thiim powers Aston Martin to pole position at the Lausitzring

Aston Martin works driver Nicki Thiim has secured pole position for the first DTM race at the Lausitzring. The Dane set one fastest time after another. In the end, the clock stopped at 1:19.463 minutes, putting him in pole position in the Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin.

Arjun Maini took second place in the Haupt Racing Team Ford. The Indian was 0.062 seconds off Thiim’s fastest time.

Lucas Auer, in the Landgraf Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3, completes the top three.
