The first provisional starting grid for the 6 Hours of Fuji has now been announced

No sooner has the FIA WEC 6-hour race in Austin finished than the World Endurance Championship is already looking ahead to the next event, which will take place from 25 to 27 September 2026 at the Fuji circuit in Japan. The WEC has now published an initial provisional entry list for the event – and it shows hardly any changes compared to Austin.

As usual, the Hypercar class will feature 18 cars from the eight manufacturers: Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Genesis, Peugeot and Toyota. The only change compared with the previous race in Austin concerns the #12 Cadillac V-Series.R. Ricky Taylor will no longer be competing at Fuji. Norman Nato and Will Stevens will therefore line up as a duo.

The two Aston Martin Valkyries will also continue to compete as a duo. In Japan, Tom Gamble and Harry Tincknell, as well as Alex Riberas and Marco Soerensen, will once again share driving duties in the cockpit. All other cars will be fielded by trios of drivers. There are also no changes to the driver line-ups in the LMGT3 class. As things stand, the same drivers who competed in Austin will be taking part .
