Nicolai Skovbjerg switches to SixtySeven Racing Husqvarna

Danish talent Nicolai Skovbjerg is the leader of the ADAC MX Youngster Cup. This week, he parted company with his team 'MX-Handel Husqvarna'. The Dane switched to the 'SixtySeven Racing' team and will line up for his new team at Tensfeld this weekend.

Scott Smulders seriously injured in France

Skovbjerg replaces the injured Scott Smulders in the SixtySeven Racing team. The Dutchman crashed in the first MX2 World Championship round in Lacapelle-Marival and suffered two broken vertebrae, a fracture in his hand and injuries to his spleen and kidney. The team was looking for a suitable replacement and decided to bring in one of the outstanding riders in this year's EMX250 championship.

Nicolai Skovbjerg will continue to focus on the EMX250 and the ADAC Youngster Cup, in which he leads by 14 points.

Debut in Tensfeld

Skovbjerg will make his debut for SixtySeven Racing in Tensfeld. Team owner Markus Weinbuch is delighted with the new addition: "We are looking forward to supporting Nicolai Skovbjerg with our expertise and accompanying him in his career.
