MX Masters in Gaildorf: Preview and live streams

Following a summer break of around two months, the ADAC MX Masters will kick off the second half of the season this coming weekend with Round 5 at the historic ‘Auf der Wacht’ circuit in Gaildorf. From a sporting perspective, it is a shame that Max Nagl (Triumph) will no longer be able to compete following a knee injury (lateral meniscus) sustained in practice. This makes defending champion Roan van de Moosdijk (Kosak KTM) the clear favourite.

Four classes set to compete in Gaildorf

Alongside the ADAC MX Masters, the ADAC MX Youngster Cup and the Junior Cup 125, the youngsters will be competing in the Junior Cup 85. As well as the racing action, MSC Gaildorf is offering visitors a varied programme of supporting events for the whole family from morning till night.

Roan van de Moosdijk on course for the title

Dutch Kosak KTM rider Roan van de Moosdijk heads into the race as the leader. He has kept himself busy with two US Nationals races and World Championship rounds. His lead over Maximilian Spies in third place stands at 58 points. Tom Koch is just one point behind. The Finnish Schmicker Racing KTM rider Jere Haavisto was crowned European Champion in the EMX Open a week ago, which should give him an extra boost of motivation. Jörgen-Matthias Talviku is in sixth place. The Estonian was signed a few days ago by Jacky Martens’ Fantic works team. Peter König (GST KTM) recently secured third place in the first round of the EMX Open.

Valentin Guillod on the starting grid

Swiss Yamaha rider Valentin Guillod, who has been competing in the US Nationals and US Supercross since last year, is expected in Gaildorf.

Legendary marquee and paddock

As well as the races, Gaildorf offers a packed programme of events for spectators on site, including a large fan zone, a paddock open to the public and a large marquee with live music on three evenings. Young visitors will have the chance to try out small quads and PW50 motorbikes on the Yamaha quad course. On Sunday from 11.45 am to 12.15 pm, Roan van de Moosdijk, Tom Koch, Jere Haavisto, Noah Ludwig and Valentin Guillod will be available to fans for an autograph session at the ADAC MX Masters truck.

Plenty of variety to mark the club’s anniversary

To mark the club’s anniversary, the festivities in the marquee kick off as early as Thursday evening with a musical programme featuring the Gaildorf Town Band. On Friday from 8 pm, VolXX LIGA will be playing in the marquee. On Saturday, the cover rock band ‘Shark’ will get the marquee rocking with the legendary MX Party, and on Sunday, ‘DJ One of us’ will provide the musical finale to the event. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance online via the MSC Gaildorf ticket shop.

Free live streams

All races from Gaildorf will be broadcast via a free live stream. Between the races, numerous interviews will provide entertainment and the latest updates. On Saturday, the broadcast begins at 3.00 pm; on Sunday, Part 1 of the broadcast starts at 9.50 am, with Part 2 beginning at 12.40 pm.
