Aragon, with its 5.077 km circuit featuring ten left-hand and seven right-hand bends, has been part of the World Championship calendar since 2010; the only year in which no races were held there was 2023.
The most successful MotoGP rider at MotorLand Aragon is Marc Márquez. The nine-time world champion won the Grand Prix there in 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2024 and 2025. Over the past two years, the Ducati rider has also triumphed in the sprint races.
MM93 will once again be the rider to beat at Aragon in 2026, as the circuit really suits him. His strongest rivals this coming weekend will be the four Aprilia riders: Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, Raul Fernandez and Ai Ogura. Martin leads the World Championship standings with 31 points’ lead over ‘Bez’ ahead of the final ten race weekends. Ogura is third, followed in fourth place by champion Marquez, who trails the ‘Martinator’ by 40 points.
In Aragon, alongside the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes, the riders of the Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup will also be on the grid once again. The MotoGP Sprint on Saturday begins at 3 pm, and on Sunday too, the usual order will be maintained, with the Moto3 race starting at 11 am. The highlight will be the 23-lap MotoGP race at 2.00 pm.
