2027 Moto3 World Championship: Valentin Perrone moves from KTM Tech3 to Team MSi

In MotoGP, the starting grid for 2027 is largely set. Although a few official confirmations are still pending and negotiations are still underway for the final places, the picture is relatively clear. At the same time, the teams in the lower classes, Moto2 and Moto3, are gradually announcing their riders for next year.

One of these is the MSi team, which recently announced its rider line-up for 2027. Hakim Danish will therefore continue in the Moto3 World Championship next season. The fast Malaysian has regularly demonstrated his tremendous speed throughout his rookie season in 2026. He stood on a Moto3 podium for the first time at Mugello. In Brno, he secured his first victory in the Motorcycle World Championship. The 19-year-old currently sits in 8th place in the overall standings.

MSi is focusing on continuity in the Moto2 World Championship

In 2027, Danish will have a new team-mate. Valentin Perrone is set to move from KTM Tech3 to MSi. The 18-year-old Argentine is competing in his second Moto3 season this year. So far in 2026, he has secured two podium finishes – most recently coming third at Silverstone. Perrone currently sits in 7th place in the World Championship standings with 95 points. In 2025, he finished 10th in the overall standings. As far as the bike is concerned, Valentin Perrone won’t have to make any changes next year – the MSi team also uses KTM bikes.

MSi has also already finalised its rider line-up for the 2027 Moto2 World Championship. Next season will see Ivan Ortola and Angel Piqueras continue in the team. The two Spaniards currently occupy 4th and 26th places respectively in the World Championship standings.
